Once again we had the chance to race in the middle of Enghien’s park during the biggest RC exhibit of the country. Buggy Tournai Racing club did setup a very nice and large temporary grass track which was praised by most and produced fun racing. With a mixed weather on Saturday and a wet track, practice time was limited. On Sunday it took the first two qualification round for the track to dry out completely, making car setup and tire choice a bit complex and spicing up the race.<\/p>\n

In Pro2 qualification, Nicolas Evens (TLR 22SCT) dominates and wins all rounds. In the first round, G\u00e9ry Ledocq (Kyosho SC6) follows in second at some distance, struggling with his car setup. Tom Vercarre (TLR 22SCT) continues on the good rhythm he has since season’s start and takes third. A result he would only improve in second and third round by taking second place, securing the second place on the grid. G\u00e9ry’s struggle continues in second round which he finishes third while he breaks his car in the last. He’d anyway start finals from third spot.<\/p>\n

In Pro4, Nicolas Evens Puttevils (TLR Ten-SCTE) also sweeps all qualification rounds to take TQ. Consistent second is Senne Pauwels (Tekno 410SCT), a fast junior driver making his second appearance in the Cup after a couple of years. Sam Damman (TLR Ten-SCTE) follows in third, having good pace but having difficulties in the woops section.<\/p>\n

In first round of Pro2 A final, Nicolas wins with a margin after messing up a bit the first turn. Filip De Keesmaecker has a great run from fourth on the grid and takes second place. Just behind him, battle for third is fierce between St\u00e9phane Lecomte (Associated SC5M) and Eric Clerix (Durango DESC210) and they cross the line in that order only 2 tenths appart. In second round Nicolas starts clean and creates a gap on G\u00e9ry that would remain until the end and give him the overall win. Newcomer Fabrice Facchin (TLR 22SCT) has a great run and takes third despite late pressure from Tom. Nicolas steps out of final round which sees Tom dominate, taking an easy win on Philip and G\u00e9ry. Thanks to his 2 second places, Philip climbs on second step of the overall podium while G\u00e9ry takes the last one.<\/p>\n

In Pro4 first final round, Nicolas takes a tone to tone win, followed by Senne, Philip De Keersmaecker (Tekno 410SCT) and Sam Puttevils (Tekno 410SCT). Sam is still adapting to his new car in his very first race with it. In second round, story repeats for Nicolas. Sam and Senne have a good fight for second place and end up in that order. With Nicolas stepping out of last round, Sam and Senne fight for the win. They have a similar pace but with less mistakes Sam gets the upper hand. Philip follows in third.<\/p>\n
