This year again, the Buggy Racing Tournai Club organizes a race of the Belgian SCT Cup in the middle of Enghien’s RC show. With a visitor attendance of almost 5000 people, national TV coverage and great weather, this event is\u00a0a great opportunity to show and share our hobby. Facilities offered by the club have never been better than this year, and the purpose-built grass track\u00a0is the biggest ever built there. Layout is pretty technical and appreciated by all drivers.<\/p>\n

In Pro2\u00a0qualification, Nicolas Evens\u00a0(TLR\u00a022SCT) TQ’s\u00a0first 2 qualification rounds ahead of Laurent Halluin\u00a0(Associated SC10) and Philippe Hautecoeur\u00a0(Associated SC10). Laurent wins the last round, ahead of Philippe. Behind them, Julian Andr\u00e9 (TLR\u00a022SCT) and newcomer Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric\u00a0De Conchy\u00a0(TLR\u00a022SCT) have a close battle for 4th position on the grid.<\/p>\n

In B final, 3 different drivers win a round, Geoffrey Simon (Associated SC10), Fabio Cumps (TLR\u00a022SCT)\u00a0and Patrick Tytgat (TLR\u00a022SCT).\u00a0With 2 second place as well, Geoffrey and Fabio\u00a0are tied on points\u00a0and Geoffrey takes the win thanks to his quicker time. First round of A final sees\u00a0Laurent winning ahead of Philippe and Nicolas. Those 3 have similar best laps and are quicker than the rest of the pack.\u00a0In second round Nicolas pulls away and wins with a good margin over Laurent and Philippe who have a very close\u00a0and clean battle appreciated by the crowd. Nicolas also takes the third round to get the overall win, with Philippe and Julian following.<\/p>\n

In Pro4, Nicolas Evens\u00a0(TLR\u00a0Ten-SCTE) sweeps all\u00a0qualification rounds ahead of Sam Puttevils (TLR\u00a0Ten-SCTE). Battle for third place on the grid opposes Philip De Keersmaecker\u00a0(Tekno\u00a0SCT410) and a driver coming all the way from the Netherlands, Leonard Giesbers (Tekno\u00a0SCT410). Philip is more constant with 2 third places and gets the spot.<\/p>\n

Finals follow a very similar scenario with Nicolas winning first 2 rounds and stepping out of the third. Sam is second in opening rounds and wins the last, and Philip keeps his starting position.<\/p>\n
